GATTA IN CALORE (LA)

Is the story of a woman who is forced to a prolonged solitude because of her husband’s work, and begins to find first in her imagination, then in actual fact an outlet for her own repressed sexuality. A young painter neighbour and his orgies with men an women friends glimpsed from the young wife’s window, and a dramatic attack on the young man are the elements which cause the two to meet. The young man will have such influence on the young wife as to oblige her to try out the most audacious experiences, until the drams comes to a head and the woman shoot at the young man.

Splendid and unusual giallo with a statuesque performance from Eva Czemerys who is the lady who ‘descends into hell’.
