MONACHE DI SANT’ ARCANGELO (LE)

After the death of the Abbess at the convent of Saint Archangel, a fierce fight breaks out among the nuns to elect her successor. The new abbess who is ambitious and powerful, prevails over the others. But some of the nuns do not respect the rules of their Order and the scandal reaches the Cardinal’s ear. He orders an inquiry to be set up.
